ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
Jinggangshan University (JGSU) is a public comprehensive university jointly operated by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Jiangxi Provincial Government, with support from Tongji University in Shanghai. The university offers undergraduate, graduate, and international student education.
Established in 1958, JGSU is located in Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province, in southeastern China. The university spans three campuses covering a total area of 2,458.7 mu (approximately 163.9 hectares). The value of its teaching and research equipment exceeds RMB 410 million, and the university’s library houses more than 2.3 million books. JGSU also has a 3A-grade affiliated hospital directly managed by the university, one non-directly controlled affiliated hospital, and the Ji’an Municipal Medical Health School.
JGSU comprises 15 teaching schools (including one center) and three management schools, offering 60 undergraduate majors. The university currently has a faculty of 1,212 members, including 133 professors, 415 associate professors, and 346 teachers with doctoral degrees. JGSU has over 20,412 full-time registered students, including 161 postgraduate students, and more than 10,000 adult students in continued education programs. Since 2007, JGSU has been admitting international students, with a total enrollment of 1,140 students to date. Currently, 314 undergraduate international students from 18 countries are studying at the university.
JGSU is committed to operating in an open and inclusive manner, steadily advancing its internationalization efforts. In 2021, the university ranked 303rd on the Chinese University Alumni Association’s national ranking list. JGSU collaborates with prestigious universities, such as Tongji University, Xiamen University, Shanghai University of Sport, and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, to jointly cultivate undergraduate talent. Additionally, it has established cooperative relationships with 46 higher education institutions from 18 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, and India.

Application Requirements:

- For Clinical Medicine: Minimum 65% in English, chemistry, and biology courses.
- Clinical Medicine applicants must pass HSK4 after the first year of Chinese language study.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, with no criminal record.
- Applicants must comply with Chinese laws and university regulations.

Applicants aged 18 to 25 with a senior high school diploma or higher; non-Chinese citizens.
